BJJ and Family Fun

F4 Martial Arts is Family owned and operated. We believe that Family is the single most important thing that our school should instill in our students. When you train BJJ you automatically become part of a large Family, that consists of everyone that practices the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Only the people who have the courage to get on the mat understand the bond that develops with those who practice this art.

F4 Martial Arts has built its business on getting families to train together and become a part of our F4 Family. Every night is filled with kids taking class, followed by a mom and dad taking class afterwords. One family after another is how we want to build F4.

Training with a Legend

June 18, 2011 Master Wendall Alexander, Co-Founder of Nova Uniao was in Arkansas and put on a Kids Seminar and a Adult Seminar at Revolution MMA in Benton. Master Alexander is a Six degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Even though his english was limited, he put on an amazing seminar for both events. He had such a wonderful demeanor with the children. The Adult seminar was an actioned packed event with almost 35 new techniques for us to add to our Jiu Jitsu game. It was truly an honor to meet him and get to spend time on the mat with him.

We had two students that received promotions at the seminars. Logan was promoted to 1st Degree White Belt in the Kids Seminar and Jacob Kim was promoted to 4th Degree Green Belt in the Adult Seminar.

Dedication

Dedication, most people know what the word means but very few people can truly follow through with it. In Jiu Jitsu, we try and show how dedication in Martial Arts can carry over to your personal life or your business life. Can you really ever be great at anything without dedication? I challenge you today to dedicate yourself to your training. Be Disciplined in your dedication to your training. Then after you start setting positive habits, try and dedicate yourself to everything that is important in your life. Marriage, kids or work, dedicate yourself to those things with the same passion that you do to your training.

Jr. Leader Program

Kid’s Jiu Jitsu in Benton and Maumelle : Junior Leaders Stand Out
Among the standouts at the workshop were the Junior leaders. Revolution MMA and F4 Martial Arts have developed a Junior Instructor Training Program, to help those kids and teens who have a keen interest in Martial Arts to learn and develop their skills to help others. The Junior Leaders from F4 were able to lead an exciting warm-up filled with new and exciting activities to help the children develop their motor skills. It is very important for young children who train Kid’s Jiu Jitsu in Benton and other areas to develop their motor skills while developing their skill set. Improved motor skill helps the children learn and perform techniques faster. The Junior Leaders are tasked with this portion of the class, as well as helping after the main instructor teaches the techniques. This is a great way for students who are interested in teaching, to slowly learn how to conduct a class. The Junior Instructor Program teaches children and teens skills such as: communication, work responsibilities, class management, timliness, character development, and how to help and motivate others.
